Introduction to Dance
Introduction to Dance classes are for our youngest students ages 3-6 years old. Dancers should register by age requirement and/or teacher recommendation.
Introduction to Dance 1 & 2 Fall Sessions
Introduction to Dance 1
Saturday 9:45-10:30am
Introduction to Dance 1 includes ballet and creative movement. Intro 1 is session based and the spring session runs from February to June.
No experience required. Must be 3 by 9/1/2025.
*It is recommended that dancers take 2 sessions of Introduction to Dance 1 before transitioning to Introduction to Dance 2.*
Introduction to Dance 1/2 and Tumbling
Introduction to Dance 1/2 and Tumbling includes ballet, basic beginner tumbling (forward rolls, backward rolls, balances, etc.), and creative movement. Intro 1/2 and Tumbling is session based and the spring session runs from February to June.
No experience required. Must be 3 by 9/1/2025. For ages 3 - 5.
*It is recommended that dancers take 2 sessions of Introduction to Dance 1/2 and Tumbling before transitioning to the next level.*

Introduction to Dance 2
Introduction to Dance 2 includes ballet, tap, and creative movement. Intro 2 is session based and the spring session runs from January to June.
No experience required. Must be 4 by 9/1/2025.
*Dancers who turn 4 between 9/1/25 & 2/1/26 and choose to register for the Spring session of Introduction to Dance 2 will be required to take 3 sessions of the class before transitioning to Intro 3.*
Introduction to Dance 3 & 4

Introduction to Dance 3
Introduction to Dance 3 includes ballet, tap, and creative movement. This is a full year class and concludes with a performance in the Spring Concert.
No experience required. Must be 5 by 9/1/2025.
Thursday 5:30-6:30pm

Introduction to Dance 4
Introduction to Dance 4 includes jazz, tap, ballet, and modern/creative movement. This is a full year class and concludes with a performance in the Spring Concert.
No experience required. Must be 6 by 9/1/2024.
RAD Primary or Introduction to Ballet is recommended with Introduction to Dance 4.
Ages 5 & 6 (comparable to Intro 3):
This foundational level of RAD training sets the crucial building blocks for progressive dance training while fostering a love of dance. Dancers focus on building basic dance technique, and develop their musicality, rhythm, and creativity in an age appropriate and fun environment.
Students enrolled in Pre Primary are eligible, by invitation, to participate in TMC’s RAD exam process with the Pre-Primary Award.
No experience required; must be 5 by 9/1/25.
Introduction to Dance 3 is recommended in addition to RAD Primary.

RAD Pre-Primary
Ages 6 & 7 (comparable to Intro 4):
