Lyrical & Contemporary
Lyrical is a style of dance created from the fusion of ballet and jazz techniques. Lyrical uses a songs lyrics and storytelling as the primary inspiration behind movement. Registration is open for those currently taking ballet.
Contemporary dance is a versatile and expressive dance style that blends elements of ballet, modern, and jazz while encouraging creativity and individuality. It emphasizes fluid movement and musicality with dancers exploring dynamics, balance, floor work, improvisation, and movement quality. Contemporary dance develops strength, flexibility, coordination, and artistry, allowing dancers to connect technical skills with personal expression. Registration is currently open for those currently taking both ballet with jazz or modern dance.
Level 1 Classes
NEW! Lyrical 1A
Minimum 1 year of ballet and a placement of Ballet 1A or higher, or by teacher approval
Enrollment in one ballet class per week is required: 2 ballet classes and 1 jazz or modern class is recommended.

Lyrical 2B (Beginner)
Wednesday 7:15 - 8:15pm
Minimum of 2 years of ballet and a placement of Ballet 2B or higher is required, or by teacher approval
Enrollment in 2 ballet classes a week is required; 1 jazz or modern class is recommended.

Lyrical 2A (Advanced)
Thursday 5:30 - 6:30pm
Minimum of 2 years of Lyrical 2B and a placement of Ballet 2B, and Jazz or Modern 2B or higher, or by teacher approval
Enrollment in 2 ballet classes a week and 1 modern or jazz class a week is required.

Level 3 & 4 Classes

Minimum of 2 years of Lyrical 2A and a placement of Ballet 2A, and Jazz 2A or Modern 2A or higher, or by teacher approval

Minimum of 2 years of Lyrical 2A and a placement of Ballet 3C, and Jazz 3C or Modern 3B or higher, or by teacher approval
